From THE COLUMBUS (NE.) TELEGRAM, November 5, 2002-
COLUMBUS - Alice Laura Loseke Schulz, 90, of Columbus, died Sunday, Nov. 3,
2002, at Columbus Community Hospital Inc.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus
with the Revs. Roland A. Jank and Andrew Alberts officiating. Burial will be
at Christ Lutheran Cemetery in rural Columbus.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today at Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus and
12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. There will be a family prayer
service at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Schulz was born April 8, 1912, in rural Platte County to Herman and
Minna K. (Hespe) Loseke. She attended Christ Lutheran School and was a
graduate of Columbus High School.
Before retirement she worked as a bookkeeper at Anderson Floral Company in
Columbus.
She was a member of the church and the National Honor Society. She enjoyed
traveling and gardening.
Survivors include one son, Jerome Schulz of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran church Organ Fund or Immanuel
Lutheran Church.
