Bill Ehlers writes," I can remember spending many Saturday Nights in Leigh in the 1950's and would usually visit Laura and Bill in the appliance store. They would let me play with the transistor radios. They were so cool! Finally, when I saved enough money from my 4-H calf ribbon prize money, I proudly walked in and picked one out. It was mine!! I could then lay in bed athome and listen with the ear phone at night to KOMA in OKLAHOMA!!"
