LINCOLN - Viola Amelia Dasenbrock, 89, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Tabitha Health Care Center in Lincoln.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Leigh. Burial is at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. There is no visitation. Metcalf Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dasenbrock was born June 18, 1915, in rural Creston, to Gustav and Margaret (Littelman) Hoessel.
She married Robert Conrad Weber April 23, 1938, in Vancouver, Wash. He died in January of 1950.
She married Reinold Dasenbrock Aug. 24, 1951, in Leigh. He died July 25, 1986.
Survivors include four daughters, Lynn (Tim) Mason of Pacific Grove, Calif., Virginia (Fredrick) Swartz of DeWitt, Cheryl (Richard) Kucera of Bennet and Jolene (Roger) Hake of Leigh; one sister-in-law, Helen Hoessel of Schuyler; nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; one brother, Arthur Hoessel; and one sister, Verna Kluver.
Memorials are suggested to Platte County Historical Society, Tabitha Health Care Center and ELCA-Seminarian Fund.
