      CRESTON--Roy C. Groteluschen, 70, of Creston died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at Columbus Manor.

      Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 14 miles north of Columbus with the Rev. Paul Bradley Rick officiating. Burial is in St. John's Cemetery.

      Visitation is until 9 p.m. today at Gass-Haney Funeral Home and 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a 10:15 a.m. family prayer service Saturday at the churc

      Mr. Groteluschen was born April 30, 1924, to Charles and Elsie (Deyke) Groteluschen in Leigh. He attended District 48 School in Leigh.

      He married Lorraine Fendrick Dec. 10, 1946, at Zion Lutheran Church in Leigh. He was a farmer and lifetime Platte County and Creston area residen

      He served in the Army during World War II from 1945-46.

      He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Creston American Legion.

      Survivors include his wife; two sons, Merlin and Kevin, both of Columbus; four daughters, Susan Rickert of Columbus; Jan Oeltjen of Portland, Ore., Donna Scheler of Wray, Colo., and JoAnn Johnson of Lincoln; two brothers, Norris of Creston and Lavern of Leigh; three sisters, Jeanne Fillmer of West Point, and Vera Hellbusch and Paula Loeffler, both of Columbus; 15 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.

      Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, Creston Rescue Unit or Creston American Legion.
