COLUMBUS--Clarence W. Grotelueschen, 85, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1994, at Columbus Community Hospital.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church in rural Columbus with the Rev. Carl Lilienkamp officiating. Burial is at Christ Lutheran Cemetery in rural Columbus.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Friday and 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at Gass-Haney Funeral Home in Columbus and 1-2 p.m. with a 1:45 p.m. family prayer service Saturday at the church.
Mr. Grotelueschen was born Jan. 23, 1909, to Emil and Rosa (Wilke) Grotelueschen in Leigh and attended Christ Lutheran School and rural Colfax County schools. He farmed south of Leigh until moving to Columbus in 199
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, holding several church offices and was a member of Lutheran Laymens League.
Survivors include four sisters, Rose Marie Graft of Fort Wayne, Ind., Edna Pieper of Seward, Velma Frese of Columbus and Evelyn Mueller of Sioux City, Iowa; and two brothers, Eugene of Columbus and Martin of Leig
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Memorials may be given to donors' choice.
