From THE COLUMBUS (NE.) TELEGRAM, June 17, 2003-
MADISON - Sarah E. "Sally" Dicke, 49, of Madison, died Sunday, June 15,
2003, at the Hospice House - The Josie Harper Residence in Omaha.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran United Methodist
Church in Madison with the Rev. Sara Hildreth officiating. Burial will be in
the Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ressequie Funeral Home in Madison.
Ms. Dicke was born Oct. 14, 1953, to David O. and Margaret (Nahrstedt) Dicke
in Columbus. She graduated from Stanton High School in 1971 and from the
Stewarts College of Beauty in Sioux City, Iowa, in 1972.
She worked for and then owned the Magic Mirror Beauty Shop in Columbus. She
later worked for the Madison County Jail as a controller.
She was in bowling leagues, played the organ for church services and had
been an Avon representative.
Survivors include her parents of Madison; two sisters, Jayne (Patrick)
Modlin of Omaha and Deb (Jim) Sharrick of Hastings.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Royal and Edna Nahrstedt and
