Mrs. M. Marie Grotelueschen, 72, of 1305 8th St., Columbus, died Monday at her home.
Services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church in Columbus, with Rev. Ernest Smith officiating. A family prayer service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Friday prior to the service. Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Thursday at Gass-Haney Funeral Home in Columbus and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Grotelueschen was born Jan. 9, 1912, at Leigh, the daughter of Joel F. and Wealtha Best Bridges. She graduated from Leigh High School in 1930, and married Enno Grotelueschen Jan. 28, 1933, at Plymouth.
The couple resided in the Leigh, Creston and Columbus areas. Mrs. Grotelueschen taught school at District 21 Platte Center for two years. She also worked at Columbus Community Hospital. Mrs. Grotelueschen was a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a grand-daughter, Linda (Mrs. George) Saidler of San Antonio, Texas; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank of Fremont; and three sisters, Leona (Mrs. Harry) Satchell of Dubuque, Iowa, Dorothy (Mrs. Ralph) Kreitman of Rapid City, S.D., and Delores McGee of Fremont.
