      LONG BEACH, Calif. - Albert Wennekamp, 87, of Long Beach, Calif., died
      Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at his home.

      Services are Wednesday at Forest Lawn Chapel at Long Beach, Calif. Burial
      will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

      Mr. Wennekamp was born May 30, 1915, at Creston to George and Frieda (Wendt)
      Wennekamp. He moved to California in 1938, where he was a restaurant
      manager.

      He was a member of First Lutheran Church at Long Beach and a former Sunday
      School superintendent.

      Survivors include two sons, Charles (Helen) Wennekamp of Albuquerque, N.M.
      and Richard (Beatrice) Wennekamp of Los Angeles; one daughter, Eva Mae
      (Henry) Ohlinger of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and 10
      great-grandchildren and two brothers, Clemens Wennekamp and Melvin
      (Margaret) Wennekamp, all of Columbus.

      He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith, in 1993; one son, Larry, in
      1973; five brothers, Reinhold Wennekamp, Herman Wennekamp, Martin Wennekamp,
      Arthur Wennekamp and Irwin Wennekamp and two sisters, Elsie Wendt and
