Stella Mary Lusche, 79, of Columbus, died Wednesday morning in Columbus Manor after a lengthy illness.
A family prayer service will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday in the parlor of St. John's Church, Shell Creek, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be afte 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Gass-Haney Funreal Home and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday in St. John's Church.
Mrs. Lusche was born Oct. 17, 1900, in Richland, daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary Luchsinger Welch. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Church. She married the late Alfred Lusche April 28, 1926.
The couple owned and operated Lusche's Service Station northeat of Columbus for 26 years. Mrs. Lusche moved to Columbus after her husband's deat
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Henggeler of Lincoln and Willa Mae Janssen of Golden, Colo.; a son, Gayle Alfred Lusche of Columbus; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She is also survived by three sisters, Ruby Egger, Lucille Henggeler and Mary Mikkelsen, all of Columbus, and two brothers, Charles Welch of Richland and Chester Welch of Schuyler.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Bill and Dave Welch.
