Milla D. Lutjelusche, 86, 2508 21st Street, died early this morning at her home. Funeral services have been set for Thursday as follows: 11 a.m. prayer service at Gass-Haney Funeral Home and 2 p.m. service at St. John's Lutheran Church, Shell Creek. Rev. Loyal Mortensen will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Her body will lie in state after 1 p.m. Wednesday until prayer service Thursday; from 1 until 2 p.m. it will be at the church.
She was born May 4, 1884, at Bissell community in Colfax County to J. Herman and Marie Luckt Plugge. She was educated in District 8, Colfax County and later married Louis Lutjelusche Sept. 25, 1907, at St. John's, Shell Creek.
A lifetime resident of Platte and Colfax Counties, she was a housewife and member of St. John's Church.
Survivors include three sons, J. Arthur, Otto, both of Columbus; Ernest of Richland; daughters, Mrs. Anna Muhle of Columbus, Mrs. Clara Lueschen of Creston and Mrs. Martha Mueller of Columbus; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Olive Plugge and Flora Kuhn or Columbus; brothers, Alfred Plugge of Columbus and John Plugge of Schuyle
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, sister, Ella; five brothers, Otto, Siegfried, Hugo, Daniel and Paul; three grandchildren. [ColfaxDeutschlandPlatte.FBK.FTW]
